YaoWang Law Offices launch in Shanghai

A full-service firm, YaoWang will focus on cross-border legal advisory and work with international organizations, institutions, law firms and a cosmopolitan client base.

Founded and managed by May Lu, supported by fellow partners Leo Wang and Victoria Li, YaoWang is one of the latest PRC law firms to launch in Lujiazui free trade district of Pudong, Shanghai. The team has full-service capability from the outset and will be able to advise domestic and international clients on all manner of contentious and non-contentious PRC law work.  

Leading the practice, May Lu brings a wealth of experience to YaoWang. Her specialism is focused on issues relating to anti-bribery and corruption law, employment law, corporate law, and several other areas. She has rich experience in advising on issues in relation to anti-bribery compliance and investigations, employment, white-collar crime and misconduct investigations, resulting disciplinary actions, and dispute resolution in China. 

The diverse team allows for a deep understanding of international commercial practices, working closely with multinational companies and overseas lawyers as well as Chinese companies. This includes advising on corporate governance, labor and employment, regulatory compliance, IP advising, fund management and foreign direct investment in China.
